Social sailing

Our social sailing and Give It A Go (GIAG) sessions are perfect for anyone looking to try something new whilst at university. We run our GIAGs throughout the year and our friendly dinghy instructors are on hand to show you the ropes and get you sailing.

We organise transport from the university and have wetsuits and buoyancy aids for you to borrow to keep you warm on the water. All you need to do is bring a towel, a swimming costume and some shoes you don’t mind getting wet.

We offer a free session before you decide to join our club and pay for membership, all you have to do is pay for transport at a bargain price of £5.

These sessions are also great for more experienced sailors who don’t fancy the competitive nature of team racing. Feel free to come for a cruise on the reservoir.
